The Physical Body and Kundalini Yoga – 025

Welcome to the 25th episode of the Heart Centered Revolution Podcast!

In this episode, we made an exciting announcement that we are doing our first free, live online workshops on October 1st and 2nd.  The workshop will teach you how to know which chakras are balanced and imbalanced, and why Kundalini Yoga is the best technique for working with your chakras.  Click here to register for one of the workshops.

We can’t wait to see you live.

Now for the episode. This episode starts as an exploration of the sensations in the physical body during mantra and chanting and evolves into a discussion about the purpose of pain during a yoga practice, and how sitting with it can expand your consciousness.

In this episode we cover:

  • What is happening in the body when you experience discomfort during a kriya, how it opens your body physically and energetically
  • How to reframe and handle discomfort so you can get the benefit that lies beneath it
  • How working through the discomfort helps to increase your self-awareness and raise your consciousness

At the end of the podcast, Jen leads you through a new type of pranayam practice for the podcast, which includes asking your breath to bless you.  It is amazing!
